As I promised here’s how I use the note-taking apps, and I do use both:

Evernote I use for all research for my fiction, and I start a new notebook for each category. For example, as I mentioned in the previous post, I created a separate notebook for my research on Boston for my current project. I’ll store it in the binder for my project in Scrivener after.

OneNote: Writer Joanna Penn (Website here) suggested the best way to thwart writer’s block is to ‘prime the pump’ by keeping a constant flow of idea notes.
I’m almost always near a computer, so I store all my idea notes in this notebook. I also write my ideas for other series here as well.
