One of the benefits that I’ve found to this process: as you brainstorm a story, ideas don’t come to you in linear fashion. As they do, you just go to that idea node, open it, add the idea then collapse it and move on to the next one.
The results may surprise you. Due to it one of my projects grew and changed in ways that I hadn’t foreseen.
